Starz just released the trailer and it looks damn good.
Had they made it as a low budget feature, it wouldn’t have gotten the love and attention it deserves. Instead, fans of the cult horror film series, Evil Dead, who for years have been clamoring to see further adventures of reluctant hero, Ash, are finally getting their wish.
As a miniseries, and if it does well, hopefully as a permanent multi-episode series, now we are going to get our fix. The style, tone, budget and effects all seem perfectly in line with our B-movie expectations of this franchise.
Bruce Campbell is absolutely bringing it. He looks to be in rare form, in shape, enthusiastic, happy to be there.
The show looks scary, hilarious, fun.
I, for one, can’t wait to see what Ash is going to do with his boom stick.
